Jack Russell Terrier Royal Doulton “Dogs of Character” HN103

This whimsical Jack Russell dog, seems to be encouraging you to play ball with him. He was issued by Royal Doulton between 1937 – 1985 as part of the “Dogs of Character” series, which was a series of 12 dogs, modeled in various poses, and believed to be inspired by the works of Cecil Aldin, a popular British artist and illustrator.

This whimsical Jack Russell dog, seems to be encouraging you to play ball with him.

He was issued by Royal Doulton between 1937 – 1985 as part of the “Dogs of Character” series, which was a series of 12 dogs, modeled in various poses, and believed to be inspired by the works of Cecil Aldin, a popular British artist and illustrator.

This wonderful pup has a perfect high gloss finish, and bears the green Royal Doulton backstamp. He is in excellent condition and stands 2 1/2″ tall x 4 1/4″ long x 2″ wide.

Please note that we currently have 2 of the 12 “Dogs” of Character” available. If you collect this series or are tempted to, now’s the time to snatch this pup up (and perhaps the other one as well!)

He also works well in a mix with other Jack Russell Terrier figurines by different artists, and makes a perfect gift to any lover of this high-energy and brilliant breed!
