Definition:Heisey Glass

Heisey Glass was an American glass manufacturer (1895–1957) known for its incredible clarity and “Fire Polished” finish. Their canine figurines, like the “Heisey Scottie” or “Poodle,” are highly sought after by glass enthusiasts. Because Heisey didn’t use many colors, the value is in the “clarity” and the “Diamond H” trademark (an H inside a diamond). These pieces are heavy, cold to the touch, and catch the light beautifully. They represent the “Golden Age” of American pressed glass and offer a sleek, transparent alternative to ceramic collections.
