Occupied Japan Figural German Shepherd Toothpick Holder

This handsome, porcelain, toothpick holder in the shape of a head of a German Shepherd dog, is a wonderful way to add a touch of whimsy to your kitchen. He is one of the many items made in Japan, specifically for export between 1945 – 1952. What makes this dog even more collectible is that he is also quite useful. He is in great, vintage condition with some very minor age spots that do not detract from his charm. He is 2 1/2″ tall x 2″ in diameter.
