Measuring 11″ tall, 6″ wide, and 6″ deep, this piece represents the pinnacle of mid-century animalier glasswork. The heavy, sculptural base features a masterfully detailed basket-weave texture, with three alert, expressive Scottie puppies peeking over the rim. Suspended above is the highly elusive, matching pink satin glass shade. The shade features elegant ribbed pleats on the dome, leading down to beautifully molded, raised-relief panels that capture proud Scottish Terriers in classic sitting profiles.
