Stunning in his highly realistic details, and captivating in his heart-warming “puppy” pose and expression, this fabulous Dachshund pup is impossible to pass by without wanting to pat his head or straighten his ear! Amazing in both color (his eyes even have a beautiful “touch” of blue!), and quality, this handsome pup sits a full 7 1/2″ tall x 11 3/4″ long x 5 1/2″ wide. He is in excellent condition, and fully marked on his underside with both the Royal Copenhagen symbol, and model # 856. He is also signed along his right hind leg by his modeller, Lauritz Jensen, who created the design for this pup while working at Royal Copenhagen from 1906-1916. He will make an extraordinary, “stand alone”, decorative piece in your home, as well as an amazing center piece of any dachshund collection.
