These fabulous, vintage porcelain bookends feature matching Fox Terrier Heads. Made in Germany in the 1940s, they have such exquisite detailing and realistic coloring, you will want to pet them as you walk by.

These fabulous, vintage porcelain bookends feature matching Fox Terrier Heads.

Made in Germany in the 1940s, they have such exquisite detailing and realistic coloring, you will want to pet them as you walk by.

Each one measures a full 5 1/2″ tall x 3″ long x 5 3/4″ wide. They are in excellent, condition.

The felt on the bottom of one of the bookends has been punctured (I believe to reveal the country of origin), and tape has been applied to prevent the sand that they are filled with from pouring out. The tape was removed for the pictures, and you can see the tiny hole in the felt on one bookend.

If you are a Fox Terrier or hunting dog enthusiast, these beautiful bookends would make a unique and wonderful addition to your collection.
