It is hard to find a porcelain dog that is more engaging than those designed by Jens Peter Dahl -Jensen. This exquisite Boxer dog looks as though she is standing between the “clownish” playfulness of her puppyhood, on the verge of her more dignified and deliberate “tweens”. Such realism, combined with Dahl-Jensen’s signature soft color palette, makes this vintage porcelain figurine in a class all its own! Standing 6 3/4″ tall x 8″ long x 2 1/2″ wide, this gorgeous dog carries the standard DJ crown mark on her underside, along with the #1170. She is in excellent condition and she appears on page 72 of “Dahl-Jensen Porcelain Figurines 1897-1985 by Caroline and Nick Pope. This figurine is large enough to stand alone as a wonderful, decorative piece, or make a very special gift for a Boxer owner or lover! Interested in Dahl-Jensen canines?
