Look how proudly this Majolica, Erphila Dachshund Dog teapot stands, waiting to serve!
He has a beautiful high gloss finish, done in a cream background, accented in saddle brown and black. He sits upright at a full 8″ tall x 7″ long x 3 3/4″ wide. His paws are extended in front to form a spout, and his tail loops up to his back, to form the handle.
He is in excellent condition, with a very small chip on the inside rim of his neck, which cannot be seen when his head is placed on his body.
He is beautifully detailed from the slight “wrinkle lines” at the corners of his eyes, to the buckle on his collar. And yes, he does appear to be smiling!
If you collect teapots, or love Dachshund dogs…this teapot is a “must-have.” If you just want someone to brighten your mornings, just place this charming teapot in your kitchen, and he will happily do the job!
