Although this adorable, bronze, Scottish Terrier dog figurine looks almost “post-modern”, we believe it to be much older than that. Faint remnants of red paint along his collar, shows that it had once been painted. Now, as a vintage piece, we believe it to have been designed sometime between 1900-1940. This sweet little character, with one ear up and the other down, sits 2″ tall x 2″ long x 1 1/4″ wide. With the base, the piece measures 3″ tall x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ square. The white marble base shows a very slight “roughness” on the top, in one small area, and it shows some very slight wear at one corner. Neither of these minor flaws detract from its charm. Perfect as a paperweight, or a small decorative piece, this Scottish Terrier may be small in size, but he is HUGE in appeal!
