It was love at first sight with this hand-painted, ceramic Dachshund & puppy. At 4 1/4″ tall x 5 1/4″ long x 2 3/4″ wide, this engaging canine figurine is in excellent condition. We love it when a dog figurine tells a story, and this one certainly does. This adorable puppy seems to have something very urgent to convey to his Mom or Dad, and he’s not going to give up until he gets the attention he seeks.

This figurine is unmarked, but it looks to have been made in the 1950’s or 60’s. The detailing is just fabulous, just look at the dogs’ eyes.

This wonderful figurine would add a great deal of charm to any Dachshund collection. It would also make a unique gift for any Dachshund enthusiast.
