Vintage Alabaster Trinket Dish with Cold- Painted Bronze Collie Dog c. 1920-1930
This gentle-looking cold-painted bronze, Collie dog looks like he’s waiting for your next command! He is a soft beige, with spots of gray caused by some slight worn paint spots.
This gentle-looking cold-painted bronze, Collie dog looks like he’s waiting for your next command! He is a soft beige, with spots of gray caused by some slight worn paint spots. Although we are listing him as a Collie, he could also easily pass for a Rough-Coated German Shepherd dog as well. The vintage alabaster trinket dish is white with veins of both medium and light gray running through it. The dish is in great condition with some wear on the corners and top edge. The bottom is covered with green felt to avoid furniture scratches. The dish is 6″ x 5″ and the dog stands 2 1/4″ tall x 3″ long x 1″ wide. This piece is absolutely perfect as a gentleman’s gift, for it’s original purpose, or to hold loose change, paperclips, cuff links or keys. A wonderful gift to cherish and to pass down to future generations!
