This tiny treasure is one of the most engaging Bermann Weiner Bronze miniatures we have ever seen! Handmade and hand painted, in Austria by the Bermann Company, it bears the gold “FBW” (Fritz Bermann Wien) mark on its underside, and comes with its original velvet bag and certificate. Standing 1 3/4″ tall x 2 3/4″ long x 1″ wide, it tells the story of a mother Dachshund dog, attempting to convince her puppy to accept, what we assume to be medicine, off of the spoon she is holding. From the expressions on both dog’s faces, it is not exactly going as smoothly as the mother Dachshund would wish! Done in extraordinary detail, which as been the hallmark of the Bermann factory since its beginning in 1850, this wonderful work of art will absolutely capture the attention and praise of people who enjoy giving and owning beautiful canine miniatures, and who appreciate the tradition of “Wiener Werkstatten.”
