This antique, silverplate, cruet set includes a silver-topped, cut glass salt cellar and a pepper shaker, and a gorgeous figurine of a dog carrying a woven basket in his mouth. Dating back to 1835, it is truly a uniquely elegant piece, and it is in excellent condition. It is 6″ tall x 5 1/4″ long x 2 1/4″ wide. The detailing is extraordinary, from the abundance of fur lines on the dog to the beautiful collar he is wearing, to the elaborate woven basket. This is truly an amazing find for anyone who appreciates fine silver work, and also loves dogs!
