Candy Dish c.1960’s
This gorgeous, Pekingese dog candy dish, was created in heavy lead crystal by Vannes Le Chatel in Lorraine, France.

This premiere, French glass company was founded in 1765. They produced lead crystal between 1960 and 1970.

This fabulous Pekingese is a full 6″ long x 4″ tall x 3 1/4″ wide. He stands with his gorgeous, silky ears framing his face, and his tail swirled over to one side. The maker’s mark is etched onto the bottom of his back paws, and he has his original foil label.

He is in excellent condition with some slight scratching on the bottoms (undersides) of his paws. He weighs slightly over 2lbs.

If you collect art glass, this wonderful dog would be a unique and rare addition to your collection. If you are a Pekingese enthusiast, or know someone who is, you can certainly imagine this dog adding an elegant “touch of whimsy” to any home.

Don’t forget our free shipping within the USA. All of our items arrive gift-wrapped in our distinctive “houndstooth” paper!
