This unique, covered candy dish is a wonderful model of a Boston Terrier!
It was made by the American Flint Glass Company, circa 1929.
Standing 6″ tall x 7″ long x 3 1/2″ wide, it is quite a heavy, substantial piece. The dog’s back lifts completely off to expose the dish.
This fun, collectible Boston Terrier appears on p.95 of “Boston Terrier Collectibles” by Donna Baker & Paul Hiller.
It is in excellent condition, ready to be put to use as a candy dish, or re-purposed to hold jewelry, loose change, desk supplies, or even as a whimsical sugar bowl!
