This extraordinary antique features three sitting whippet dogs, circling a globe-shaped inkwell with a hinged lid. It contains a glass   insert, which is in perfect condition. The globe is slightly loose, but secure. The dogs are highly-detailed, with intaglio eyes with garnet chips.

This beautiful inkwell measures 4 1/2″ tall, and is 4 1/4″ in diameter at the base. The globe inkwell portion is 2 1/2″ in diameter.

Elegant and highly detailed, this antique brass inkwell is in excellent condition.
