This wonderful, Mid-Century Modern Dachshund dog figurine was created by Royal Haeger from the 1940’s through the 1950’s. Paying special attention to the most singular characteristic of the breed, it’s length, they have created a Dachshund that is so charming and whimsical, any Dachshund enthusiast would love to own it. Measuring a full 9″ long x 6″ tall x 4 1/4″ wide, he is in excellent, flawless condition. All the white spots in the pictures are caused by the lighting, reflecting off of his high gloss finish.
For those who collect Haeger figurines, he is pictured on page 38 in Paradis’s “House of Haeger” 1944 -69 book.
