This wonderful vintage whiskey decanter is formed into the figurine of a Scottie/Westie pair.

It was specially commissioned by James Buchanan, LTD,,  from George Wade & Son, LTD, at the pottery located in Burslem, UK, which is one of the five famous towns in the pottery district.

This engaging decanter, which depicts this ScottishTerrier and this West Highland Terrier as the best of friends, was made in seven separate pieces, and then hand-decorated.

For this reason, they were only created as a limited series, to house Buchanan’s 12 year-old scotch whiskey.

Measuring 6 1/2 inches tall x 10 inches long x 6 inches wide, this decanter is in excellent condition with its original tag.

The stopper is in good condition, with the cork having only a bit of wear. Please note that this vintage decanter is empty…the whiskey has been well-appreciated a long time ago!
