Majolica “Erphila” Dachshund Dog Teapot c.1938-1945

Look how proudly this Majolica, Erphila Dachshund Dog teapot stands, waiting to serve! He has a beautiful high gloss finish, done in a cream background, accented in saddle brown and black. He sits upright at a full 8″ tall x 7″ long x 3 3/4″ wide. His paws are extended in front to form a spout, and his tail loops up to his back, to form the handle. He is in excellent condition.

He is beautifully detailed from the slight “wrinkle lines” at the corners of his eyes, to the buckle on his collar. And yes, he does appear to be smiling!
