Oil on Silk Portrait of Two Retriever Dogs – Artist Signed

This elegant portrait of two Retriever dogs is done with oil paints on silk. The detail is exquisite and the colors range from creamy white to gold, to soft brown and then to a very deep brown. The dogs are both focused on something just on the other side of a pile of hay, which we cannot see.
The entire piece, including the frame, measures 25″ tall x 28″ long, and it is artist-signed.
It is matted and framed under glass, and you will see in the pictures a rectangular image which is only a reflection caused by the glare of the glass. The portrait and the frame are both in excellent condition.
The frame is very light weight, and it was probably used to protect the art, rather than to add to its value.
Nonetheless, it is a truly unique and gorgeous canine portrait, and one that would look stunning in any sporting dog enthusiast’s home.
