This sweet, seated Poodle was designed by Fritz Heidenreich for Rosenthal in 1953. It had a relatively short manufacturing run between 1957 through the mid-1960’s.
The detailing is wonderful, featuring the dog’s curly fur lines, and traditional poodle “pompon” on the top of its head. Measuring a full 6″ tall x 4 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide, it is fully marked and it is in mint condition.
If you are a Poodle enthusiast and have a poodle collection, this elegant figurine is a “must have.” If you are a collector of Rosenthal dogs, please note that this poodle pup is a rare find and the perfect addition to your canine collection.
