This wonderful, matched pair of solid cast iron, Art Deco dog andirons, were made during the 1920’s through the mid 1930’s by The Tennessee Chrome Plate Co. of Nashville, TN.
They stand a full 17 3/4″ tall, and extend 18 1/2″ from front-to-back and each dog is 7 1/4″ wide.
Their classic, Art Deco, chiseled look is quite stunning. They are in great condition, with minimal signs of use on their paws and on the cast iron log supports.
The log supports are well-attached and sturdy, quite capable of doing their job.
They are quite a find for any canine enthusiast, and an exquisite addition to any Art Deco or Mid-Century Modern decor.
