This wonderful mid century modern poodle planter is a real show-stopper.

Measuring 5″ tall x 8″ long x 2″ wide, it is painted a very high gloss black with bright red, white and yellow accents.

Such a vivid color combination certainly makes this poodle “pop!”

It is in excellent condition, with its original gold foil label, which unfortunately, is very hard to read.

This vintage black poodle looks very similar to the “kitschy” Redware or Lefton Poodles, but this beauty has sharper features, and a sleeker, more mid century modern look.

The underside of the poodle’s paws shows the red clay that would place in it that c.1950’s era.

In addition, this wonderful dog’s head is turned to the left, while most of the similar redware poodles look straight ahead.
