He was issued in 1970 and retired in 1986 and sculpted by Vincente Martinez.

Measuring 3″ tall x 10″ long x 3 1/2″ wide, it has the blue Lladro stamp which also reads “Handmade in Spain”.

It has a high gloss finish and is done in classic Lladro colors of soft gray, beige and tan.

The detailed sculpting of this dog shows a very expressive face, showing a number of emotions, from bemusement to exhaustion.

For a breed that swings from super “high-energy” to gentle and placid on a dime, this wonderful porcelain Bloodhound figurine certainly captures the true nature of this amazing breed.
