This exquisite, Royal Doulton Collie dog was modeled after a noted champion Collie, “Ashtead Applause”, who was owned by a Mr. Roberts c. 1935. A photo of this champion Collie was published in Hutchinson’s Dog Encyclopedia around that time.

This gorgeous Collie dog stands 5″ tall x 7″ long x 2″ wide and is in excellent condition. He would make an elegant addition to your Royal Doulton or Collie collection, especially with the copy of the Photo Print of “Ashtead Applause” to complete the history of the figurine.
