This porcelain figurine by Rosenthal, depicts an Italian Greyhound, sitting poised and alert to something directly in her path. She was designed by Prof. Theodor Karner in the early 1930’s. She is absolutely exquisite with delicate and finely detailed facial features, legs, and paws. Her beautiful coloring goes from a soft, subtle grey into a creamy white.
She is marked on the underside of her base, with the Rosenthal Bavaria mark, as well as the impressed T. Karner signature and the model # 42T.
She measures 5″ tall x 5″ long x 2 1/4″ wide. She is in excellent condition.
