In the days when the Pit Bull was America’s dog, “Petey”, the celebrity American Pit Bull Terrier of “The Little Rascals”, stole the show without ever having to say a word! While the show was originally filmed from the 1920’s into the 1930’s, those of us who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s were also great fans of this TV show and Spanky’s canine “best buddy”, who looked to have a target painted around one eye. This original oil painting of this famous pup is 24″ x 20″ and it has a retro 60’s-70’s look about it. It is in mint condition, and is signed by the artist (Underwood). Whether you intend to add it to your fine art collection from that period, or decorate a children’s room or playroom around it, it is guaranteed to be a wonderful conversation piece, and just as it’s subject, guaranteed to make you smile!
