This extraordinary pair of Lhasa Apso dogs was designed by Karl Ens and manufactured by the Volkstedt Porcelain factory of Germany prior to WWII. Like so many of Karl Ens’ figurines, it depicts the pair of dogs fully animated, and with this pair of pups, joyfully so. The elaborate detailing shows off the gorgeous flowing fur of their “double coats.” It is done in a high gloss finish with a gorgeous blend of cream, caramel and grey.
This beautiful, porcelain figurine is in excellent, flawless condition, and measures a full 6″ long x 5″ tall x 7″ wide. This pair is so expressive and masterfully rendered, it is guaranteed to become the favorite of any Lhasa Apso enthusiast and collector!
