“Rare” is not a word we typically like to use in our item descriptions, but in this case, words like “rare”, “unique” and even “one-of-a-kind” may be more than justified to describe this amazing pinched glass brandy or cordial decanter and matching six glass set. Since we have never seen one like this before, we are making an educated guess that it comes to us from between 1940-1960. The bulldog is actually blown as part of the decanter itself, not just simply painted on. And although the only flaw of the entire set, is some very minimal paint wear just underneath his mouth, his expression clearly states that whomever intends to indulge in the contents of this decanter, better well have permission! The set includes six cordial or shot-sized glasses, all in mint condition. The stripes on both the decanter and glasses run from a bright orange-red to yellow and then to black. The decanter holds 20 ounces, and each glass holds 4 ounces (up to the top black line). If you are hoping to find a truly unique, and useful gift, or you would like to add a real conversation piece to your bar…this is the bar set for you! And of course, if you happen to be a bulldog-lover, you will not want to overlook this amazing guy!
