This gorgeously executed Sporting dog was designed by Karl Ens and manufactured by the Volkstedt Porcelain Factory, Thuringia, Germany.

The breathtaking detail and the bright, vivid coloring of this fine porcelain dog, makes him truly one of the most beautiful of the dogs designed by this well known sculptor.

Look closely at the exquisite feathering of the dog’s fur and the realism of his expression and you cannot help but agree. Measuring a full 8″ tall x 9 1/4″ long x 2 3/4″ wide, he is in mint condition. He carries the blue Ens Germany factory stamp, and has the numbers 7347 incised on the underside of the base.
