This wonderful Hubley cast iron bookend features a pair of Sporting dogs, one Pointer and one Setter, poised and alert, against a background of bright green grass and shrubbery, and a stone wall.

This vintage bookend, which is 5 1/4″ tall x 6″ long x 2 1/2″ wide, is quite heavy and sturdy enough to use as a doorstop as well.

It is in great, vintage condition, retaining almost all of its vivid, original paint, with some mild discoloration, mostly on the back.

This engaging pair of hunting dogs would make a prized addition to any Hubley or sporting dog collection, as well as an excellent Pointer or Setter dog lover’s gift.
