This wonderful hand-carved wood figurine is a captivating study of an adult Skye Terrier, happily playing a “ruff” and tumble game with it’s two puppies. The figurine is in excellent condition. The detailing is extraordinary, from the elaborate fur lines to the red tongue, and deep set dark eyes of the adult dog. It is 2 1/2″ tall x 4″ long x 2″ wide. It sits on a wood block base that is 4 3/4″ long x 3″ wide. There is a tiny chip along the top edge of the base that can easily be mended with a a touch of sanding and stain. The bottom originally was covered in felt, much of which has worn off. That too can be easily fixed. This rare and engaging figurine would look wonderful in an office or den. It’s a perfect collectible for any Skye Terrier owner.
