t is hard to resist such an affectionate portrait of a furry friend. This antique, Essex Crystal brooch captures in three-dimensional perfection a sweet Cairn Terrier sporting a flouncy pink ribbon collar and bow. The detailing of this dog’s expression is so realistic, you almost feel like the pup, herself, is looking out at you. At 1 1/4″ in diameter, this hand-painted in reverse intaglio crystal, is mounted in 18K gold, and it is elegantly framed in a braided gold border. The background is “Mother of Pearl.” It has the original pin which is in perfect working order. The entire piece is in excellent, flawless condition.
