This totally charming, vintage trio of Cocker Spaniels was created by Royal Arden Hickman (1893-1969) for the then called “Royal Haeger” brand of the Haeger Company of Dundee, Illinois. The mother dog is a full 8″ tall x 8″ long x 5″ wide, and she is in excellent condition. The “begging” puppy is 4 1/4″ tall x 2 3/4″ long x 3″ wide. He has a repaired front left paw that is very hard to see. The second “rolling” puppy is also in excellent condition. All three dogs have their original foil labels. They all have a beautiful high gloss glaze, and are painted in a gorgeous mix of golden tan, soft brown and caramel tones.
For Cocker Spaniel collectors, this is truly a wonderful addition to your collection. It is no longer in production, and not often found all together.
