Occupied Japan Hound Dog

This wonderful dog figurine, made in “Occupied Japan” really looks like the hound dog next door. With his slightly slumped posture and the calm, but wise expression on his face, you can tell that he has run through the woods more than a few times. He is one of the many items made in Japan, specifically for export between 1945 – 1952.
Sitting 5″ tall x 4 3/4″ long x 2 3/4″ wide, he is in excellent condition. He will certainly be a great addition to an “Occupied Japan” collection. However, if you’d just like have the company of an “old soul” furry friend, this little guy would be the one to pick!
