Cast Iron Scottie Bookends c.1930

This matched pair of cast iron bookends feature a very curious Scottish Terrier and a tiny green frog. As always, we love vintage dogs that tell a “tale”, and this curious pup looks very focused on creating a bit of mischief.
Measuring 4″ tall x 4 1/4″ long 3″ wide, they are both in great condition for their age, but, as you can see, some of the paint on the bases is missing, or has been scratched. Nonetheless, they are extraordinarily charming, and quite collectible.
Whether you are a Scottish Terrier enthusiast, or just love to fill your home with charming vintage items, these bookends are a terrific find.
