This sterling silver pendant features an exquisite portrait of a Scottish Terrier dog. We know that this Scottish Terrier’s name is “Ken”, in that it is inscribed on the back of the pendant. The inscription also tells us that he was awarded “First Prize” in December of 1935.
The hallmarks , also on the back, tell us that this solid, sterling silver, pendant or watch fob was made in Birmingham, England in 1928 by the Bendall Brothers.
The entire piece is gorgeously detailed, and the dog’s portrait, set in relief, looks extraordinarily realistic. It is in excellent condition, and measures 1″ in diameter.
This is an exquisite, highly collectible pendant/fob that would be a true showpiece in any canine awards collection. It is also easy to see that it would be a unique and special gift to any Scottish Terrier enthusiast, one that carries a bit of history and a great deal of charm.
