Rosenthal Porcelain Poodle Figurine c. 1975

This delightful, Rosenthal porcelain Poodle almost looks to be smiling as he “dances” upright. He stands a full 8 1/4″ tall x 3 1/4″ long x 2 1/4″ wide, and he is in excellent condition. He is extraordinarily detailed with gorgeous curly fur, a big pink tongue, and black eyes, nose, gums and even the pads of his paws. He is marked “Classic Rose Collection Rosenthal Made in Germany” and the numbers 5155 are also impressed along the inside edge of the bottom.
For Poodle enthusiasts, this engaging dog just exudes the bright, attentive and elegant personality that makes this breed so very special. Your current Poodle-friend, or ones in your past may not have been dancers like this sweet figurine, but they were most likely high-spirited and nimble-footed.
