He was issued by Royal Doulton between 1937 – 1985 as part of the “Dogs of Character” series, which was a series of 12 dogs, modeled in various poses, and believed to be inspired by the works of Cecil Aldin, a popular British artist and illustrator.
This wonderful pup has a perfect high gloss finish, and bears the green Royal Doulton backstamp. He is in excellent condition and stands 2 1/2″ tall x 4 1/4″ long x 2″ wide.
