Sterling Silver Curved Handle Baby Spoon with Dog Head c.1902

This sweet, antique baby feeding spoon is sterling silver and it features a very detailed Collie dog’s head on the curved handle. The spoon is 3 1/2″ long and the bowl of the spoon is 1 1/2″ long x 1 1/4″ in diameter. It is in excellent condition, with some very mild scratches that are expected, considering its age. It is marked “sterling” on the inside of the handle, along with the # 12. The wreath that surrounds the dog’s head and the hanging garlands draping on either side, gives it that very Edwardian formality and appeal.
