Art Deco Dog Doorstop

This unique and fabulous vintage cast iron doorstop looks to be a hound dog.
The sleek and simple lines of this dog gives it a stylized Art Deco look.

He was designed and manufactured by Virginia Metalcrafters. He is dated 1986, numbered, and weighs just under 10 pounds.
He is in excellent condition with a slight touch of wear on the tip of his nose.

He has a wonderful antique blue/grey patina, and measures a full 12 1/2″ tall x 6″ wide x 4″ deep.

Given his size and weight, he will serve very well as a doorstop. Don’t overlook his elegant charm. He will easily make a wonderful decorative piece in almost every spot in your home.
