Bermann Vienna Wiener Bronze Dachshund and Pup Miniature

This wonderful, authentic Vienna Bronze mother Dachshund and pup were handmade and hand painted in Austria by the Bermann Company. It is marked with the golden “FBW” mark (Fritz Bermann Wien), and comes with a velvet pouch and a certificate of authenticity. This original work of art comes from the original model used by an elite group of craftsmen with a uniquely singular process, which began in Vienna in 1850.

So diminutive in size, the workmanship and detailing of this piece is so extraordinary that some of the engraving can only be seen under a magnifying glass! The piece depicts a mother Dachshund attempting to offer her pup some medicine (we presume) off of a spoon. Despite her best intentions, it appears, based on the look on both their faces, that it might not be going as smoothly as she planned.

This piece is in MINT condition. It would make an extraordinary piece for any Dachshund lover or a fabulous addition to any collection.
