This vintage Boston Terrier print was removed from a 1936 publication, making it approximately 77 years old. The title “Made in America”, and the artist’s signature are part of the printed page. If you look closely, you can see that there is text on the reverse side. It is double-matted (black and then vanilla), covered in glass, and framed in a new, black wood frame with a gold painted edge close to the mat. Diana Thorne’s dog etchings are so admired because they capture the humor and energy of the dogs she portrays.This work of art stands beautifully alone, but it would also make an outstanding addition to a gallery grouping of similar prints in your home.
