This wonderful vintage padlock was cast in the form of a Bulldog. The body of the lock is the body of the dog, and the Bulldog’s tail loops back over its body to form the loop of the padlock.

This wonderful vintage padlock was cast in the form of a Bulldog. The body of the lock is the body of the dog, and the Bulldog’s tail loops back over its body to form the loop of the padlock.

Once opened, the tail piece can be completely removed from the rest of the dog. The very end of the looped tail has a sharp point, that when inserted back into the dog, pushes out into the dog’s mouth and looks like the dog’s tongue.

Measuring 1 1/2″ tall x 2″ long x 1/2″ wide, this whimsical pup has a wonderfully detailed face and collar. He even looks like he is smiling. He is in good working condition, with the chrome coating worn off in some areas, primarily on the tail.

He comes with an original key. What a great gift for the canine collector who has everything.
