“Stunning” is the appropriate word to describe this large Scottish Terrier dog designed in chocolate slag glass! Deep chocolate, caramel, milk chocolate and white glass swirl in a gorgeous mixture to create this uniquely beautiful dog. For those of you who collect either slag glass or Scottish Terriers, it is important to note that this particular piece is marked with the “ALIG” mark, indicating that it was made only between the years 1981-1983, during the time that the Imperial Glass company was owned by Arthur Lorch. 6 1/2″ tall x 5″ long x 3″ wide, this fascinating, 3-dimensional dog would make a beautiful stand alone piece, or an exquisite bookend. Be sure to look closely at how the colors and “carved” look of the glass combine to make this such a gorgeous work of art!
