This Carnival glass, 2 piece powder jar was made by the Jeannette Glass Company from the 1930’s to the 1950’s. While it is called “marigold” in color, it is actually a lovely “peach” color glass. It was typically used to hold loose powder on an elegant lady’s vanity table. It can easily be re-purposed to hold jewelry or other small items. It is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or visible signs of wear. If you are putting a special gift together…think about how fun it would be to receive it “packaged” in this gem! Fill it with candy, bath salts, tea…the possibilities are endless.
