This Pug dog pin truly captures both the colors, and the unique breed characteristics of this fabulous dog.
The extraordinary detailing of the dog’s fur, as well as its’ wonderful curled tail, makes it a truly exquisite piece to wear and “show off” your passion for the Pugs in your life.
It was designed and manufactured by Kenart Limited, during WWII at their “Bridgeworks” factory in Stalybridge. They became renowned for their dog pins which were first exhibited at the Crufts Dog Show. It is also believed that the popular dog artist, Thomas Fall, was the designer of the images of over 50 breeds that were included in this pin collection. Those that were made of sterling silver and enamel were considered the “Top of the line” of this series.
Measuring 1″ tall x 1 1/2″ long, this Pug pin is in excellent condition, with a working clasp and a straight, working pin. It carries both the Kenart stamp on the back as well as the registration number, and the word “Silver”.
This wonderful pin would make a beautiful gift for any Pug owner, or a fabulous addition to your canine jewelry collection.
If you collect KENART dog pins, this gorgeous pug pin, as are the dogs themselves, just made to be loved!
