This wonderful Hubley, cast iron, Boston Terrier doorstop stands a full 9 3/4″ tall x 9 3/4″ long x 5″ wide. She weighs over 7 1/2 lbs. From the look on her face, she takes her job quite seriously, holding the back porch door open during many, many family gatherings, and she would be proud to do it again.
She has the classic Boston Terrier dog coloring and she sports a bright red collar. She has her original paint with no repaints or touch-ups. Her seams are nice and tight, and she is held together with her original flat head screw. This Boston Terrier doorstop also has the grinder marks on the underside of her body, which are indicative of a Hubley dog. Although she is quite old, she is in outstanding condition. And although she would still be quite handy as a doorstop, after all these years of service, she certainly deserves a place of honor on a table top or on a bookshelf (and she would look terrific there too!)
