Austrian Cold-Painted Bronze Pointer Dog Desk Set

This large, vintage, desk set consists of a cold-painted bronze Pointer Dog which is 5 1/2″ tall x 8 1/4″ long x 2″ wide, a marble base that measures 11 1/2″ long x 7 1/2″ wide, and its original swivel Bakelite pen holder.

The marble base is quite heavy, and it has a 1 1/2″ groove along the full length of the base to hold additional writing instruments. It is in great condition, with some paint worn off of the dog and a small chip on the far right corner of the top of the base, and another on the top right edge along the back.

Nonetheless, it is a truly elegant desk accessory, that would add a wonderful, classic touch to a formal office or den.
