This fabulous antique, folk art hooked rug features two female Scotties.

Each of these sweet Scottish Terriers is sporting a bright two-toned pink ribbon collar and bow.

By their placement on the rug, and the expressions on their faces, it looks like the one on the right might have a “bone to pick” with the dog on the left.

Measuring a full 20″ tall x 32 1/2″ long, this wonderful, hand hooked rug is in excellent antique condition. The Scotties are placed against a muted beige background that is bordered in a deep burgundy red. There are places along the edge that are missing a few stitches, but they are barely noticeable, and not unexpected in a piece dating back to the 1920’s.

This antique rug is mounted on a wooden frame that is painted black. It is wired and ready to hang.

This gorgeous, whimsical, folk art rug is a one-of-a-kind treasure for any Scottie lover, and an amazing addition to any folk art collection.
